After roping the hind legs of a calf Terry Snyder, Wilmore, dragged a calf to the edge of the holding pen where it was branded, castrated and vaccinated. His horse kept the rope taut until nudged forward. 50-mile per hour winds slowed the branding operation slightly on the Merrill Ranch but for most of the hands, it was business as usual.
