Marriott SpringHill Suites is located one short block from the site of the conference. The News Center and the hotel are within easy walking distance of downtown Lawrence, a thriving dining and shopping district.
CLIK Conference rate:
$82.00 per night
Hotel guestroom rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 12.3% per room per night) such as are in effect at time of check-in.
Each individual attending will need to make his or her reservation directly with the hotel. You must specify that you are with the CLIK Conference to ensure you receive the special CLIK group rate.
If you prefer to book on-line, visit Marriott's web site at www.marriott.com. You will need to use WCAWCAA for double queen room and WCAWCAB for king room for the group code. Attendees will need to contact the hotel directly if you encounter any difficulties or wish to add additional nights.
The sleeping room block will be held until March 19, 2007, for the April CLIK session and until May 21, 2007, for the June CLIK session. After those deadlines, reservations will be made on a space availability basis only and the hotel's rack rates may apply.
Each individual will pay room, tax, and incidentals. All individual reservations must be guaranteed for arrival by a major credit card or advance payment of the first room night plus tax.
Free parking is available in the SpringHill Suites parking lot and garage.
Getting from KCI airport
Midwest Transportation offers shuttle service from KCI airport. Reservations are required: call 888-467-3729
From Kansas City International airport (MCI), take I-29 North to I-435, following route signs to Topeka. Take I-435 South to I-70. Take I-70 West, which will turn into Kansas Turnpike, to Exit 204, which is the East Lawrence exit. Head South from exit on Hwy 40 to 6th Street. Turn Left on 6th and go two blocks to hotel in Riverfront.
