The Arc of Douglas County provides advocacy, education and supports to people with developmental disabilities and their families. The Arc of Douglas County was started in 1956 by nine families who wanted to assure that their children recieved the best education and services to help them become included as part of their community. We continue to follow their goal and vision for a community where all people are accepted and belong.
Through the supports and services provided by The Arc, we seek to empower people with disabilities and their families to live and belong in their community.
