Positive Behavior Support Faciliation

Positive Behavior Supports (PBS) is the practice of using sound, individualized, postivie behavior interventions to help children with disabilities who are exhibilitng severe behaviors. Using interventions that have been developed from proven intervention methods and based on the individual needs of the child, his or her disability and family, the PBS facilitator creates a plan that will help the child and his or her family find new successful ways of dealing with problem behaviors and works together with the family and their support network to help the child learn more positive ways of dealing with anger and frustrations.
