Arthur, Chalmers sent home after violations

Expect more rain for the morning and mid-afternoon with showers diminishing toward the evening hours. We will struggle to a daytime high of 72 degrees with a wind out of the north between 10-15 mph. Expect skies to begin to clear for tonight with the low dropping down to a chilly 52 degrees.

Former KU basketball players dismissed from NBA's rookie transition program: Memphis Grizzlies power forward Darrell Arthur and Miami Heat point guard Mario Chalmers were dismissed from the NBA's rookie
transition program Wednesday for violating unidentified league rules.
