40 Wakarusa Valley elementary School sixth-graders waved red, white and blue strips of paper to music during their patriotic tribute, "Glad To Be an American," which they performed at school. Their teachers, Phyllis LaRue and Linda Young, organized Thursday's program and performed it for employees of the Golf Course Superintendents of America in celebration of their five-year Business/Education Partnership.
